FAQ — Raised Garden Beds Questions Answered | Leafy Lux Living
1. What is Aluzinc steel?
Aluzinc steel is coated with a blend of aluminum, zinc, and silicon. It resists rust 3 to 7 times longer than standard galvanized steel, giving our garden beds a lifespan of up to 20 years.
2. Are your garden beds safe for growing food?
Yes. Our Aluzinc steel is non-toxic and does not leach harmful chemicals into the soil. It is safe for vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers.
3. What does "9-in-1" mean?
Our 9-in-1 kit includes enough panels to build 9 different configurations. For example, you can build a 3.5ft x 6.5ft, 2ft x 8ft, or 5ft x 5ft bed — and 6 more shapes. You choose the layout that fits your space.
4. Do I need bracing rods?
We recommend bracing rods for beds that are 8 feet or longer. They provide structural support and prevent the panels from bowing under the weight of soil. Bracing rods are included with our 32-inch 9-in-1 kits.
5. Can I expand my garden bed later?
Yes. Our extension panels let you add 1.5ft or 2ft to your existing bed. They are made from the same Aluzinc steel and connect seamlessly.
6. Do you ship to the United States?
Yes. We offer free shipping to both Canada and the U.S. on orders over $99.
7. How long does shipping take?
BC orders arrive in 1 to 3 business days. Eastern Canada takes about 5 to 7 days. U.S. orders take 7 to 14 business days.
8. What is your return policy?
We offer a 60-day return policy. Items must be in original, undamaged packaging. See our Shipping & Return page for full details.
9. Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Free pickup is available at our North Delta, BC warehouse. If you prefer to collect your order yourself, please reach out to us via email to coordinate the details.
10. What colors are available?
Most of our garden beds come in three colors: Ivory White, Eucalyptus (green), and Dark Gray.
